Toy Storage - Where Do You Keep Them?

Most children have a lot more toys nowadays than they used to have. These toys are very good for stimulation and development.
However many people are reluctant to get toys as they occupy quite a lot of space. Toy storage bins and toy storage boxes are some of the tools that can be used to store your child's toys efficiently and neatly. Having good toy storage ideas will not only help to keep your home neat and tidy, but also help your child to pack away easily and find the toys they need. A well-organized toy storage system can be great fun for the kids. Here are some top storage ideas for packing away all toys that accumulate.

Toy Storage Systems

A number of toy storage systems are available to keep your child's toys organized. Many kids toy storage systems (like toy storage bins, toy storage boxes and toy storage units) come in bright colors. They will be liked by your child. A toy storage shelf is one of the best ways of storing toys, as many of these will have different compartments for different types of toys - making them great for things like lego. Parents may need to use a variety of toy storage systems to store all the different toys belonging to their children. Toy storage bins can be used for bulky toys. Toy storage boxes can be used for smaller toys. A toy storage shelf or toy storage unit can house toys that come with different parts. Toy baskets or bags can store stuffed toys.

you can also use things around the house for temporary or permanent storage solutions. Here are some toy storage ideas:
  • Use cardboard boxes. Paint them in bright colors or cover them with wrapping paper to improve the look. These won't last long, but they are very cheap and most houses have a dozen of them.
  • Build your own wood toy storage unit. You could also add bits and pieces to an existing bookcase. Paint it in a bright color to finish it off - or add pictures if you.
  • Keep the boxes that the toys come in. These can be used to store all the little pieces that come with a toy.
  • Hang up some rope and use pegs to peg stuffed toys onto it. This not only creates a visual effect, but it keeps stuffed toys well out of the way.
  • Shop in second-hand stores or flea markets for old magazine racks, chests, bookcases and small containers. Paint them in your child's favorite colors. You can even get your child to help.
  • Raid your kitchen. Tupperware containers, old pots and mixing bowls can be used for storage purposes.
  • Baskets. These are great for smaller toys and for use in car toy storage.
